font-size: 85%;">Tips to Create a SEO Friendly Blog

In order to run a successful online business blog, you will have to think about making it more SEO friendly. Blog will help you to gain more traffic and visitors therefore encourage more sales. So just what exactly is SEO and how can you add it to your blog?

What is SEO?

SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization and used to make your website rank higher in search engines. You do this by using certain keywords that show your site on search engines such as Google and Yahoo. However, it can be difficult getting your website noticed on the major search engines as they usually prefer your website to have been up for at least a year or two and having it linked to from other websites, is also sometimes needed.

How to Use SEO for Your Blog

If you are looking to use SEO to promote your online home based business blog, you will need to take various factors into consideration. The first is that it is good to use as many keywords as possible to highlight your site, you should never use too many.

If you do use too many keywords, the search engines that you want to help you will actually ignore the site and consider as spam. They do not want you to overstuff your website with SEO content because if you do, it is likely not to be of a good quality. So, you need content in your website that reads well and has a good amount of keywords, but not too many.

The good news about a blog is that you can generally get away with using more keywords than you can in an article. This is because it makes more sense in a blog because it is shorter and it is a summary of whatever it is that you want to say. However, saying that, it would still be a good idea to limit the keywords and ensure that the blog does make sense with them all included. Hence you can improve your, internet business opportunity.

Finally, the main thing to keep in mind with SEO and blogs is that you need to make any external links that you may provide relevant to your website. If, for example, you have a website about cars, it would be pointless having a link to site about office furniture. The search engines will pick up on all of the links that you have and they will simply push your website down the list if they notice anything funny about your submission.

SEO in your blog can help you to gain more business, make extra money and it can help you to get higher rankings on various different search engines too.

Top Google Tricks

<img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; As the wise, old Professor of Search Engine Marketing made his way to the front of the room, one of the students asked him, "Professor, what is SEO?"

The professor looked over the classroom full of young students and replied, "Let me tell you a story…"

There once were 5 families that lived in a rural valley where the soil was rich, the weather was harsh, and the best apples in the whole world grew wild.

One day at the first home the man of the house said, "My family is hungry. I know there's an apple tree on the ridge. I'll go and see if I can get some apples for my family."

So, the man took a basket, hiked up the ridge until he arrived at the apple tree. He thought, "I'm tired. I will set my basket under the tree and take a nap. Perhaps when I wake up some apples will have fallen into my basket." So, he set his basket under the tree and fell asleep. When he woke up he found one apple in his basket, which he took home to his family.

He did this day after day, but one apple was not nearly enough to feed his family so they grew hungrier and weaker each day.

At the second home the woman of the house said, "My family is hungry. I know there is an apple tree by the river that looks healthy. I'll go and see if I can get some apples for my family."

So, the woman took a basket and a picking stick and walked to the apple tree by the river. She pulled out her picking stick to pluck apples from the tree, but while the tree had seemed health from a distance there were only a few apples on it. (In some versions of the story the tree is full of apples but they are all very high in the tree.) She jumped and reached as high as she could with her stick, but she only got 2 apples, which she took home to her family.

She did this day after day, but 2 apples were not nearly enough to feed her family so they grew hungrier and weaker each day.

At the third house, the man thought, "I know of many apple trees in the valley I will visit each one and see which one has the most apples I can reach with my picking stick." So, he did. And while he saw some trees that were bigger, and other trees that had more apples, he settled on a small tree that had a good number of tasty apples, which he brought home to her family. They had enough to eat each day but no more.

At the fourth house, the woman thought, "I know of many apple trees in the valley. I too will visit each tree and taste an apple from each to see which one has the most edible apples I can reach with my stick." So, she did. And while she saw some trees that were bigger, and other trees that had more apples, she too settled on a small tree that had a good number of tasty apples, which he brought home to her family. They had enough to eat that day.

After dinner she thought, "If I only had something to stand on, I could pick more apples in a taller tree." So, she went to her workshop and made a small step ladder. The next day with the help of her ladder and her picking stick she was able to pick more apples from a slightly bigger tree. Her family had some extra apples they canned for the future.

Each night the woman would go into her workshop and add a little more to her ladder, and each day she was able to pick more and more good apples. After many months she was picking the best apples from one of the biggest tree in the valley and selling the extra apples to the other families in the valley.

At the fifth house the man did all of the things the woman of the fourth house did, but he also picked from many different trees and wrote down in his notebook how many apples he got from each tree each day. If he noticed a tree was bearing less fruit he might stop picking from it. If he noticed another tree had more good fruit at the top he would add to that tree's ladder. After many months of this he was bringing home more apples than all the families in the valley could eat, so he started shipping extra boxes of apples to markets all around the world.

When he finished the story one of the students asked, "Professor, what does it mean?"

The professor replied, "The apple pickers represent website owners, the apple trees are keywords, and the apples - website visitors."

The first apple picker who set his basket under the tree and took a nap is like the person who builds a website, doesn't optimize it for search engines, and hopes people will just drop in.

The second apple picker who chose to pick apples from the tree that looked healthy only to find it had few apples is like the person who builds a website and optimizes the web pages for phrases she thinks will bring visitors. But she neglects to do any keywords research and ends up optimizing her site for phrases that aren't searched much (or phrases which are out of reach for her site to compete for).

The third apple picker who looked at all the trees in the valley and chose the one with the most fruit he could reach is like the website owner who builds a site, does keyword research, and optimizes the site for good, relevant keywords that his site is able to compete for. They are not the most popular phrases in his field but with on-page optimization he is able to get his site into the top 10 search results and generate sales or leads.

The fourth apple picker who looked at all the trees, chose the one with the most fruit she could reach, and built a ladder in her workshop after dinner so she could get the apples from bigger tress is like the site owner who builds a site, does good keyword research, optimizes her site, and begins building links to her site. He not only receives good results early on, but her number of visitors and sales grow as the number of links to her site grows and she is able to compete for more competitive keywords (bigger trees).

Lastly, the fifth apple picker who looked at all the trees, built a ladder, and tallied the number of apples from each tree each day is like the website owner who does keyword research, on-page optimization of his site, link building, and tracks his search rankings with ranking reports and his website traffic with analytics. He is able to build a successful website that competes for the best search phrases and can adjust as his industry and search marketing trends change."

From that day forward every student brought an apple for the wise, old professor each day they attended class.

And that's where we get the tradition of an apple for the teacher. Don't believe me? Google it.

Why Is Keyword Research Critical To SEO?

Like a foundation for a building, there is one aspect of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) that is more important than any other. Without this foundation, you may be wasting all your time and resources. Proper keyword research should be the basis of your optimization.

Why is Keyword Research Critical?
Keyword research determines which keywords you should be targeting with the SEO. Most people think that they know which keywords they should target. Instinct can be a great resource, but it can also be misleading and is almost always not enough. For example, "search engine optimization" gets an estimated 16,000 searches a day while "search engine marketing" gets an estimated 8,800 searches a day. If your gut tells you to target "search engine marketing", you may get great rankings, but it would only get you half of the traffic that you could have had if you had targeted and ranked well for "search engine optimization". There are also keywords that you may not be able to rank well for without a lot of time and significant amount of link building regardless of how well you optimize your site. In addition, there are keywords that other people will use to search for what your site offers that you would never even think of. So, in addition to letting you know which keywords are more popular, the research can also provide new keywords to target.

Drawing on the analogy in our search marketing parable (found on the Church Marketing Online blog), optimizing your website without first doing keyword research is like trying to pick apples from a tree without first checking to see if there are any apples on it or if the apples are within your reach. You could end up putting in a lot of effort but going home with little fruit from your labor. So it's a key component of search engine optimization.

What Do I Research?
There are two main aspects to keyword research. The first is popularity, how often are keywords actually searched for. Unfortunately, Google, Yahoo, and MSN don't share the actual number of searches for specific keywords; however, there are a few tools online which are generally thought to be pretty accurate and Google does offer a free tool that gives the "approximate" number of searches for some keywords. The keyword popularity tools (other than Google's) use the search data from a number of other smaller search engines along with a few algorithms to predict how many searches are being made for specific keywords. It's not perfect, but it gives you an idea of which keywords are most popular. Since Google's figures come from…well…Google, they are probably the most accurate, but even their figures are only estimates and I've found that many keywords return a "Not enough data" result. You may wish to use both Google and another keyword popularity tool.

The second aspect to keyword research is competition research. Competition research starts with analyzing your web pages to determine how competitive your site is both in general and for specific keywords. This is sometimes referred to as page strength. I should note that there are really two aspects to page strength, the general strength of a site and the specific strength of a page within the site. For the sake of simplicity, in this article I will use "web page" for both. The next step is to examine the keywords themselves to see how competitive they are. This is sometimes called keyword difficulty. Determining keyword difficulty is done partially by examining how competitive the pages are that rank well for this keyword, though other methods can be helpful as well. This can be tricky for two reasons.

1. No one other than that search engine designers knows how each search engine determines how competitive a site or page is and the search engine folks aren't talking.
2. Each search engine has a different way of determining how competitive a site or page is. So, even if you could figure out one, it wouldn't necessarily be so with the other search engines.

Despite these difficulties the search engines do give us some general information about what makes web pages competitive (what determines page strength). I'll look more into how you determine keyword competition in my next article.

Without good keyword research, your search engine optimization efforts will be like firing a gun into the dark. You may hit something, you may not. You may choose keywords that are not searched for or keywords that are way too competitive for your site at that time. It's best to know what you need to be targeting.

Search Engine Placement Optimization

Search engine placement optimization requires you have a detailed strategy outlined. The detailed strategy should include three parts. It should include keywords, meta information, and a marketing plan.
Below I will briefly discuss the importance of keywords, meta information, and a marketing plan and how they are affected for search engine placement optimization.

Keywords: Before you even begin creating a website you should have several hundred keywords pre-established to determine exactly what keywords you want the search engines to index your website for. If you have already created your website and have not established keywords yet, it is ok because you can still do so now. In order to gain a healthy amount of keywords, you need to use a keyword tool. There are many keyword tools out there that charge outrageous fees to provide monthly search volumes in search engines, and they are all 100% false. Do not get scammed. Search engines do not release their search volumes. For the ones that used to such as Yahoo, they have reported that their search volumes are extensively inaccurate so how in the world could a keyword tool provide accurate search volumes of the search engines themselves can not figure this out? Get it now? Ok. Good. There is a free keyword tool called seobook. Google seo book keyword tool, and the exact link will pop up. Seobook gives you up to 100 keywords and estimated search volumes for free. I use them and I love them, and most importantly I don't pay a dime.

After you've gathered your keywords you need to ensure your meta information on your website is written appropriately.

Meta Information:

Meta information is the title and description tags in your website. They let the search engines know what your website is all about and they rank you accordingly. So for example, if you sold keychains and your website is keychainstoday.com, do not just put your domain name in your title tag. Your title tag should read: Keychains | Keychainstoday.com. In your description tags area you need to write a brief two to three sentence description about your website. Last but not least are the keywords. Put up to ten keywords in this section. Do not put more than that, otherwise the search engines will consider it keyword stuffing and they will penalize your website and possibly even de-index you from their search engine.

Marketing Plan:

The marketing plan is now ready to be put into overdrive after you have followed the advice above. Search engine placement optimization relies on backlinks and the best way to get backlinks quick, fast, and in abundance is article marketing and mass article submission. Article marketing allows you to write articles and submit them to directories. The best part as that the article directories allow you to place anchor texted backlinks in your author bio box. Obviously you would want to place your website as an anchor texted backlink in the author bio box.

If you submit enough articles to enough directories, you will be indexed for the keywords of your choice in no time.

How To Search Engine Optimization

In this article I will be discussing search engine optimization from a how to perspective. So we will call this article how to search engine optimization. Search engine optimization is probably more speculated with more inaccurate information than the stock market. Much like the stock market, people speculate on what they think the search engines are going to do to alter search engine optimization. The truth is, no one knows this information except for the search engines themselves. And they are not going to release it now or never. There is one fact that search engines such as Google have released. Google said years ago that they care about quality content to their end user. If you can deliver quality content to searchers, Google and other search engines alike will love you, love your website and index everything you do.
Content comes best in the form of articles. Writing and submitting articles to article directories is appropriately called article marketing. Article marketing has been used by internet marketers for years. One thing about article marketing that is so great is that it provides satisfaction for all parties involved. This includes the article directory who gets good content to share to their members and therefore receive more advertising revenue. It's great for search engines because they get quality content as well and it's great for your website because you get anchor texted backlinks from the article directories.

When you write articles and submit them to article directories, they allow you to place an anchor texted backlink in your author bio / resource box. These anchor texted backlinks are what let search engines know exactly what keywords you want the search engines to rank your website for. The more anchor texted backlinks you have, the more credit your website is given and therefore the higher it is ranked for the specified keywords in your anchor texted backlinks.

I personally submit five articles everyday to 200 article directories. This has provided me with fantastic results. There has never been anything I have ever done to get high quality one-way anchor texted backlinks. My previous tactic to receive one-way anchor texted backlinks years ago before I knew about article marketing was simply contacting websites and begging for backlinks. As you can probably imagine, this did not go over very well. As a matter of fact, many website owners told me to go to a very hot place beneath the earth if you know what I mean. After about one month, I only received 10 backlinks after hours of emailing.

With article marketing, I receive 1000 anchor texted backlinks every week. Sometimes more depending on how many articles I submit and to how many directories.

I hope this article has given you some information about how to search engine optimization. I am an expert, so you can take my word to the bank. There is more you need to know though. I've only barely scratched the surface in this article since I am limited to a certain word count. Check out my site in my author bio box below and feel free to contact me if you have any questions about article marketing or search engine optimization that I did not discuss here.

4 Critical Ways To Get Traffic To Your New Website

Now you have your new website and you are keen to start making some sales! But, how can you make sales if you do not have high volumes of traffic to your website?
One of the challenges which people starting a new online business face is that of getting traffic to their website. This article outlines four important steps you must follow to start generating some traffic to your website.

1. Have unique content on your website. Search engine robots look at all websites on a regular basis looking for sites with fresh and new content. It is therefore important for you to have fresh and high quality content which will get your website quickly indexed by search engines.

2. Have all your keywords on your website. It is important that you have all the relevant keywords and phrases that relate to your topic on your web pages and any articles you post on your website. This will increase your website ranking on search engines which means that your website will rank high when people type keywords relating to your topic on search engines. You will therefore get many visitors coming to your site via the search engines. When people visit your website, the high quality content you have will make people spend more time on your site and ultimately buy some of the products or services you offer on your site.

3. Because your website is new, you must submit it to search engines. Submitting your URL to the search engines is an important step towards getting more visitors because it means your website will be visible from search engines. Having your website URL on search engines means that when people look for information relating to your topic on these search engines, they will find your website.

4. Exchange some website links with websites that have a high popularity rank (PR). Exchanging links with popular and related websites is an effective way to drive traffic to your website, and improve the raking of your site. You will get some traffic coming to your website through other websites that you have linked to.

By following the tips outlined in this article, you will realize that increasing your website traffic and getting more people to visit your new website is very easy to do. All you need to do is to follow these steps and you will soon see an increase in traffic to your website which will mean a lot of sales and online profits for your internet business!

Discover how Super Affiliates earned $5000+ every month, how they do it, are they super genius and why many affiliates failed. As with any kind of marketing, where and how you advertise your website can determine the amount of visitors. The same applies to RSS feeds.
As you create your RSS feeds, keep in mind that the title should contain optimal search keywords. The more keywords contained, the more likely you are to have your feed come up when a particular search string is entered. This is not to say you should cram every possible keyword into the title of the RSS feed. Instead, keep in mind that you can have up to 15 different titles listed for the same link, article, content, etc. when creating the original RSS file.

Use descriptors to attract visitors to your site by tempting them to click on your feed. Think of text that will enhance your content, but not make it appear irrelevant. People are less likely to click on a RSS feed if it doesn't fit their needs and wants. By keeping the descriptors concise, but also tempting, you will drive people to click on your link over someone else's.

In keeping with the keyword search, don't forget that you can now search by theme. Use this to your advantage and group your RSS feeds into themes. When submitting them to search engines, group the feeds into specific themes. This can help bring your feeds up more often when similar themes are searched.

When you add RSS feeds from other companies, you can tell your website how to react when the feed is clicked on. Rather than have visitors transported to the new site, have it come up as a new window. This will help lessen the chance your site visitors will leave your website completely. People don't use the back button as often, so it increases your chances of the person to continue to peruse your site if the RSS feeds pop up as new browsers.

As you design your RSS feeds, include your company's contact information. This entails your website, any relevant contact information, and if possible, your logo. The more experience a person has with your website, the more frequently he or she will recall it when thinking of your products or services. Consequently, it also goes to say you need to make sure the experience is a positive one because it goes the same way with a negative experience, except it deters visitors from returning.

Use your feed within your own site. By promoting it within your own website, you can improve its standing on external search engines. Search engines often return results by the most frequently clicked first. If you don't have enough faith in your own RSS feed to include it in your website, why would anyone else want to subscribe to it? At the same time, RSS feed search engines often return results alphabetically. Typically an English teacher would not count the word 'A' in a title when cataloguing it, but in RSS search engines, it is viewed as the first word of a title. Try to word your titles to begin with 'A' to improve their standing. As they are clicked on more and more, it will increase the feeds' standings in other search engines.

In order to utilize your well written and constructed RSS feeds, remember to subscribe to them yourself. Nothing gives others' faith in their content like seeing it on the originators' website. Use keywords appropriately in titles because you can write multiple titles to fit the same content. You can also use themes to help capture the essence of your RSS feeds. Keep site visitors at your website by 'instructing' external RSS feeds to open in new browser windows. Lastly, don't forget to include your company's contact information with the website in your feeds. The more often these are put out to the general population, the more exposure you will get.

3 Aggressive SEO Linking Strategies To Get Your Site Noticed

Using search engine optimization for one-way link building is the most important factor for getting a high keyword ranking. Because search engines list their results from your link popularity, SEO positioning should be your number one strategy for high pagerank.
SEO Tip #1

When utilizing an aggressive linking campaign, don't start linking into multiple domain networks which are all hosted on the same server or buying a series of links hosted within a single IP addresses. What your website needs are natural links that will be gained over a period of time. One of the best ways to achieve this is to comment on do-follow blogs (not spamming, but commenting on a few per day) where your website link is naturally growing.

SEO Tip #2

The pagerank quality of those sites you want to link to you must appear natural to the search engines. Be careful to not only link to sites with a high page rank of 8 or 9. You should also seek links from a good range of sites with both high and low page rank values. This is especially the case for new sites and submitting articles to the various article directories will achieve this.

SEO Tip #3

Try looking at your link campaign from a purely scientific view. Basically, you need to find out what the visitors to your site are searching for and then find out which phrases convert to sales and then target your link text towards these visitors. Once you have determined your highest value phrases, you then apply those phrases in the anchor text you request from your link partners. Using this method allows you to request links based on the highest Return Of Investment (ROI), as well as appearing natural to the search engine spiders.

By applying the strategies above, you will attain a linking campaign that is both relevant and highly targeted to your main search phrases. Link quality is far more important than link quantity and anchor text is more important than pagerank.

Keyword stuffing of a web page

Keyword stuffing is the deliberate beefing up of particular phrases in the content of the web page. It is a search engine optimization technique for any adult web site promotion. History of keyword stuffing The keyword stuffing has made history more for its abuses than for its uses. It was used as a bait to hook more and more traffic onto its web page, in an attempt to ethically or unethically shovel up the rankings of the websites.
Consider some instances-

keyword stuffers used to hide the irrelevant keywords, by coloring it same as the web page background, making the search a mountain out of a mole hill.

The more intellectual web designers infested their contents with most coveted words like 'sex' even it had far anything to do with that pretext.

Some stuffing freaks did this art ad nauseam, as such at the end of the day there were more keywords on the web page than its contents and the web page looked more of an American tattooed pattern.

Then one day, all of a sudden leading search engine websites like Google and Msn , came down heavily on these practices and specified their norms to keyword stuffing , failing which the web designers would be nabbed and their website banned for ever.
These guidelines -

Squashed the practice of ratings based on the frequency of the keywords.

In contrary it made way for themed related keywords that have something to do with the content of the website.

Specified the degree to which any keyword can be impregnated, and also the positions where they are to be stuffed.

A stuffing of up to 10% in major headings, first paragraph, ending and sparsely distributed in the middle is desirable for any adult website promotion. A word of caution It is highly recommended for adult web marketing that stuffers do stick to the basics, as the search engine sites employ sophisticated tools like the keyword density analyzers and by no means, will a machine understand that you were by any way unintentional.

Types of Computer Hardware

Computer hardware is a physical part of a computer that executes within the hardware. It is unlike computer software or data that can be frequently changed, modified or erased on a computer. Computer hardware is not frequently changed and so is stored in hardware devices such as read only memory (ROM) where it is not readily changed.

Most computer hardware is embedded and so is not visible to normal users. Well, here we provide you invaluable tips to help you troubleshoot your HP, Dell, Lexmark, Brother or Samsung Printers in easy steps.

Resetting an HP laser printer

There is a technique known as cold resetting. It basically will set all your HP printer settings to the factory default levels. It is important to note that any settings made at the control panel of your printer are going to be reset. Hence, in case you happen to have a JetDirect card then even the IP address will be reset to the factory defaults. You can try to reset NVRAM. To do this, switch off your HP printer and then hold down the ‘Go’ key for around 20 seconds while switching the printer back on again.

- HP 1200 and 1100 models resetting: To do this, simply change the data by going into the service mode. This is applicable if your HP printer has a display panel. Otherwise you need to hold down the ‘Go’ button for around 5 seconds while the printer is switched on.

- HP 2100 printer resetting: You need to press the ‘job cancel’ key after switching off the printer. Then switch the printer on and only then release the key called ‘job cancel.’

- HP 2200 printer resetting: Switch off your printer and then hold down the ‘Go’ key. Switch back the printer on while holding the ‘Go’ button till the light comes on. Then release the button.

- HP 6P and 5P models resetting: Switch off your printer and then press the ‘reset’ button and within 20 seconds switch on the printer back again.

Resetting a Dell printer

You can reset your Dell printer fairly easily by simply double-clicking on the ‘Reset Dell Printer’ icon. You can reach this icon by clicking on the folder ‘UAN’, then clicking on ‘System Utilities’ and you should find the icon. However, one word of caution – this method will function only if the USB cable has been directly connected from the PC to the printer.

Resetting a Lexmark printer
You will firstly need to switch off your printer. Then simultaneously press the RETURN and READY keys while switching the printer on. This will take you to the Diagnostics Mode. The display unit will show the message ‘Performing self test’. Choose ‘Maintenance count’. Reset the count to make it zero. Then select the RETURN key and go back Diagnostics Mode. Then you can reset the printer to go back to the normal mode.

Resetting Brother Printer
You need to keep pressing the DOWN or UP keys a couple of times till you see ‘Maintenance 99’ displayed on the display. Then hold down the ‘Set’ button to go to standby mode. Please note that if you press the exit key only after typing in a single digit then the machine goes to maintenance mode in initial stages.

Resetting Samsung printer
You need to press the following keys in quick succession – MENU # 1 9 3 4. Then you should see a message on your display saying ‘TECH.’ Then again select the MENU key followed by ENTER. The display will now show ‘TECH MODE.’ Then select the ‘<’ key two times. Your operator panel should show ‘NEW CARTRIDGE’. Then select ENTER. Now the panel will show [YES]. Select ENTER key again. You can exit from this mode by pressing MENU # 1 9 3 4 again one after another.

Top 5 Things to Make Him Think of Commitment

You have been with your man for the past 6 months now but you are unsure if the two of you are still an item or is it just good companionship that the two of you have established. You hope that second is just not true because you want more out of him. So what could you possibly do to make him think about commitment?

If you are thinking that talking to him about it is going to work, then you are grossly mistaken. So what could you do? You could read the following words of wisdom to get him around to think about commitment.

1. The first thing that you could do is make some changes to your life style for his sake. Learn to be more attentive. Men do like attention. He wants to see if you are able to leave everything for him so he could claim you as his very own and walk you down the aisle. This does sound primitive but hey no one said anything about evolution getting a better hold of men!

2. Now learn to respect his space and yours. Men do a lot of thinking too and at this time he could be making many decisions with regards to how well you are able to cope with him and how good a better half would you make for him? Have your own private spaces and time. Don't infringe on that.

3. Learn to make your own decisions. Men hate to make decisions especially when they know that you would have the thing purchased with its tag to be returned later because you didn't like it. Unless it a common decision, leave him out of it. Make your own decisions and stop haranguing him.

4. Learn to cook lady. Men like to eat and he wishes to have a woman for his life who would be able to feed him even in the wee hours of the mornings. He is just not being selfish here, because when you think of a commitment, men usually jump a few steps and also think about children. He wishes to find out if you would feed him and your children well.

5. The last thing that you could do to make your man think about commitment is to love him dearly, show him your love and be very honest in all respects.

Try these top five things that I have imparted to you and see how fast your man decides to take the giant leap with you. Remember it's a giant leap and he would want your unfaltering support in this as much as you want his.

Before you go, I want to give you a GIFT:

How to Get Your Guy (Free report)

This guide contains detailed information about what men in order to commit themselves to you. It delves into the psyche of the male mind and teaches you how to get a guy to love you - without changing who you are.

Domain Name Forwarding and Search Engines

You own a single site, but several domains - perhaps you wanted
to make sure that even if your customers misspelled your domain
name they’d get to your site, or perhaps you’d like to have a
specific domain name direct to a page deep within your site -
whatever the case, there are some important considerations
surrounding multiple domain names routing to a single site and
search engine submission.

Search engines like Google and Yahoo won’t always wait around
for you to submit a site - Googlebot and Yahoo Slurp (which you
may recognize from your server logs if your site has been up for
a few weeks) are constantly running across new domain names to
index. It’s a good thing - unless your domain names are being
forwarded incorrectly.

What constitutes and incorrect forward?

Many major domain name registrars offer a “Domain Name
Forwarding” feature which, while it may be the easiest way to
forward your domain, can cause some real problems when search
engine spiders like Googlebot or Yahoo Slurp visit your site.

Here’s what happens:

1) The search engine spider pulls your domain name (usually from
http://www.whois.sc/ ) 2) The spider visits your website, using
the domain name forwarded through your domain registrar 3) Your
domain registrar is using a Temporary Redirect (most likely
because it’s assumed that you’ll point the domain name to a new
hosting account sooner or later), frames, or other incorrect
forwarding method 4) The spider indexes your site

But what went wrong? Your domain name registrar did its job, and
sent the spider to your actual site when it visited the domain
name you registered. The spider did its job and read the content
of the page or pages it found, and then incorporated them into
the search engine index. Everything’s copacetic, right?

When the search engine spider read the page, it associated it
with your alternate domain name, the one that was supposed to be
forwarding to your primary domain name. This means that the
search engine has effectively tracked down what it will quickly
identify as duplicate content - and, after years of dealing with
sites trying to sell Viagra on the sly by duplicating their
content across hundreds of pages, today’s search engines will
respond to duplicate content with a drop in your ranking.

Given enough time, you may find your site has been banned from
the search engine index.

What’s the solution?

Your domain names need to be routed from the domain name
registrar to a hosting account - from the hosting account (and
this varies - consult your technical support provider for the
account) you’ll need to set a Permanent Redirect to your main
site.

A Permanent Redirect is logged as a code ‘301′ (thence, it is
often referred to as a ‘301 Permanent Redirect’) - if you have
multiple domain names which you wish to direct to a single site,
it may be especially useful for you to consider a website
hosting account which offers multiple add-on domains and
subdomains to accommodate all the domain names you’ll need to
forward

Generate Traffic to Your Website by Using Blogs

Blogging can be used a means of generating traffic to your website, Face book or My Space page or even another blog. However, to achieve that, you have to advertise your blog itself, and that should be taken into account when you create a blog. Use your blog to make money as well as to have fun and meet people.Blogging is a great way to get traffic to your website, and if you create a blog for no other reason than that, you are practically certain to get positive results. Blogging and traffic are made for each other, and there are several ways of using blogs to promote products on your site.

The first question is what kind of blog? Although there are alternatives, the most popular blogging software packages are Google’s Blogger and Word press .For more details visit to www.rss-announcers.com. This offers you four blogging options, and three ways of creating a blog to get traffic to your website.

Why four from just two blogging packages? Here is the answer to that question, and how if you create a blog using each, you will maximize your earning potential from your products:

BloggerBlogger is blogging software owned by Google. Most people run their blog from Blogspot, Bloggers blogging host. When you do that you have less control over your blog than if you operate it from your own IP address. Blogger is very easy to use, and very easy to get started with, and is popular with those who don’t want to worry about templates, plugging and designing their own blogs.

Word pressWord press can also be run from the Word press hosting site. However, where Word presses scores over Blogger is in the fact that the software can be uploaded to your website, and can be run from there. This enables you to use any of the thousands of Word press plugging and templates that provide an almost unlimited degree of functionality in your blogging that will help to drive traffic to your website.

When you create a blog with any of these two different packages, whether run from your own computer or from the blog host, you are able to provide fresh content daily to your virtual website. Because that is what a blog is: it is in effect a web page, in the same way that a Squidoo lens and a page on a website is a web page.

Bogging and Search EnginesBlogging allows you a presence on search engines such as Google and Yahoo, and allows those with little idea of SEO or even of web design, to sell products online. There was a time when blogs were a rarity and something new, but blogging is now a way for anybody that knows how to create a blog can drive traffic to their website or to their blog page and help they make money through free advertising.

However, even a blog has to be advertised. Blogging in itself is not an advertising technique, but one of displaying your thoughts, idea, products or advertising your products. Now, you might think I am being a bit duplicitous here, stating that blogging is not a means of advertising yet can be used to advertise! Yet both statements are true. Let me explain why.

Is Blogging an Advertising Technique?Yes and no. You can create a blog in order to get traffic to your website, and in that respect you are using your blog for advertising. You can place a link to your website: your squeeze page, sales page or just a content page. The question is, how do you get people to read your blog, and then click on one of these links? The link could be placed at the bottom of every post, and on a permanent page on your blog, but how do yet get traffic to your blog: you have the same problem now as getting traffic to your website!

What you have here is that blogging can be use to promote another site, whether it be a website, another blog or a social networking site such as Face book, My Space or You Tube. You can use all of these to promote and sell products. However, how do you get people, to find your blog? Creating a blog is fine, but that is only the start.

Use Article Marketing in BloggingThere is one way, and that is article marketing. By writing articles about your niche or product, and then including a link to your blog in the article, you can use the article to advertise your blog .For more information logon to www.feed-reader-links.com. If you can persuade a reader to click on your link, they will reach your blog on which you provide them with links to your website, your other blogs and your Face book and My Space home pages.

Perhaps you can’t write, and maybe don’t know how to use articles properly, or even where to get them. Well don’t worry. If you want to make the best use of the internet than create a blog, get blogging and then use the help provide online to make best use of your blog make money.

Blogging and traffic go together, and it is easy to create a blog to drive traffic to your website or any other online web page (such as another blog). Reboot Windows in safe mode (hold the f8 key while booting and you will get the option to boot in safe mode) and then:
2. Open Registry Editor (regedit.exe) and search for wgalogon folder and delete it. You should backup up the registry beforehand, in case somethiong goes wrong.
3. In your windows directory search for files wga* and delete them.

You are done!

Now reboot back normally and continue your work. Windows Genuine Advantage will not bother you anymore.

Note: I had previously posted a tip which requires a third-party executable. Now it is not required anymore. You can do it yourself by carefully following the guide above.

Warning: Use at your own risk. Backup everything before you do.

Bonus Hint: A better option is to switch to Linux and enjoy all the peace of mind that comes from using Genuine Linux operating system and non-Microsoft software and in not using Genuine Windows software. The search engines attempt to minimize the effect of the latter, among them spamdexing. Some industry commentators have classified these methods, and the practitioners who employ them, as either white hat SEO, or black hat SEO. White hats tend to produce results that last a long time, whereas black hats anticipate that their sites may eventually be banned either temporarily or permanently once the search engines discover what they are doing.

A search engine optimization technique is considered white hat SEO if it conforms to the search engines' guidelines and involves no deception. We can say the legal SEO is a white hat SEO. As the search engine guidelines are not written as a series of rules or commandments, this is an important distinction to note. White hat SEO is not just about following guidelines, but is about ensuring that the content a search engine indexes and subsequently ranks is the same content a user will see. White hat advice is generally summed up as creating content for users, not for search engines, and then making that content easily accessible to the spiders, rather than attempting to trick the algorithm from its intended purpose. White hat SEO is in many ways similar to web development that promotes accessibility, although the two are not identical.

Black hat SEO attempts to improve rankings in ways that are disapproved of by the search engines, or involve deception. One black hat technique uses text that is hidden, either as text colored similar to the background, in an invisible div, or positioned off screen. Another method gives a different page depending on whether the page is being requested by a human visitor or a search engine, a technique known as cloaking Invisible iframes is yet another black hat SEO technique, where a page you see is not necessarily from the company that is hosting that webpage. People create these types of pages in order to download software on your computer in the background without your knowledge

Search engines may penalize sites they discover using black hat methods, either by reducing their rankings or eliminating their listings from their databases altogether. Such penalties can be applied either automatically by the search engines' algorithms, or by a manual site review. Infamous examples are the February 2006 Google removal of both BMW Germany and Ricoh Germany for use of deceptive practices. and the April 2006 removal of the PPC Agency BigMouthMedia. All three companies, however, quickly apologized, fixed the offending pages, and were restored to Google's list.
Many Web applications employ back-end systems that dynamically modify page content (both visible and meta-data, for example the page title or meta-keywords) and are designed to increase page relevance to search engines based upon how past visitors reached the original page. This dynamic search engine optimization and tuning process can be (and has been) abused by criminals in the past. Exploitation of Web applications that dynamically alter themselves can be poisoned.

Search Engine Optimization

Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of improving the volume or quality of traffic to a web site from search engines via "natural" or un-paid ("organic" or "algorithmic") search results as opposed to search engine marketing (SEM) which deals with paid inclusion. Typically, the earlier (or higher) a site appears in the search results list, the more visitors it will receive from the search engine. SEO may target different kinds of search, including image search, local search, video search and industry-specific vertical search engines. This gives a web site web presence.

As an Internet marketing strategy, SEO considers how search engines work and what people search for. Optimizing a website primarily involves editing its content and HTML and associated coding to both increase its relevance to specific keywords and to remove barriers to the indexing activities of search engines.

The acronym "SEO" can refer to "search engine optimizers," a term adopted by an industry of consultants who carry out optimization projects on behalf of clients, and by employees who perform SEO services in-house. Search engine optimizers may offer SEO as a stand-alone service or as a part of a broader marketing campaign. Because effective SEO may require changes to the HTML source code of a site, SEO tactics may be incorporated into web site development and design. The term "search engine friendly" may be used to describe web site designs, menus, content management systems, images, videos, shopping carts, and other elements that have been optimized for the purpose of search engine exposure.

Another class of techniques, known as black hat SEO or spamdexing, use methods such as link farms, keyword stuffing and article spinning that degrade both the relevance of search results and the user-experience of search engines. Search engines look for sites that employ these techniques in order to remove them from their indices.

Liverpool require

Liverpool require a £100 million cash injection before the summer or owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett will face a decision over whether to sell the club when the current debt-refinancing agreement ends in July.

Minutes from a meeting between Liverpool managing director Christian Purslow and supporters' group 'Spirit of Shankly' last month, released on the group's website, suggest that the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) and Wachovia - the banks with whom Liverpool currently have a refinancing deal - are putting pressure on the club to find £100 million of new investment to help better manage their reported £237 million of debt.

The current refinancing deal with RBS and Wachovia runs out in July and if Liverpool don't meet the £100 million investment figure then it's thought Gillett and Hicks will either have to seek an agreement with a new bank, or put the club up for sale.

Purslow admitted at the meeting that, though a cash injection was a requirement laid down by the banks, no promises had been made and there was no guarantee that investment will be found in time.

"One of our key priorities is to reduce the debt by £100 million," he said. "This is a requirement from our bankers and will allow us to look at more flexible and longer-term refinancing when this investment is brought in. The targeted reduction was agreed by the bank, myself and the owners when I was brought in [as managing director].

"The £100 million will be made by the issuance of new shares, and will not go towards anything else other than paying down the debt, reducing it to £137 million. This new investment will also mean a dilution of the current ownership."

Purslow also revealed that after beginning the search for new investors last year, the number of potential investors has reduced from "25-30" to "five or six" with whom the club are currently in discussions.

"There are no promises [that investment can be secured in July], just an expectation and hope that it can be done in that time," Purslow said. "I cannot guarantee it.

"There had been around 25-30 investors interested, although some were clearly not seriously interested once we had spoken with them. Initially, all a webmaster needed to do was submit the address of a page, or URL, to the various engines which would send a spider to "crawl" that page, extract links to other pages from it, and return information found on the page to be indexed. The process involves a search engine spider downloading a page and storing it on the search engine's own server, where a second program, known as an indexer, extracts various information about the page, such as the words it contains and where these are located, as well as any weight for specific words, and all links the page contains, which are then placed into a scheduler for crawling at a later date.

Site owners started to recognize the value of having their sites highly ranked and visible in search engine results, creating an opportunity for both white hat and black hat SEO practitioners. According to industry analyst Danny Sullivan, the phrase search engine optimization probably came into use in 1997.

Early versions of search algorithms relied on webmaster-provided information such as the keyword meta tag, or index files in engines like ALIWEB. Meta tags provide a guide to each page's content. But using meta data to index pages was found to be less than reliable because the webmaster's choice of keywords in the meta tag could potentially be an inaccurate representation of the site's actual content. Inaccurate, incomplete, and inconsistent data in meta tags could and did cause pages to rank for irrelevant searches. Web content providers also manipulated a number of attributes within the HTML source of a page in an attempt to rank well in search engines

By relying so much on factors such as keyword density which were exclusively within a webmaster's control, early search engines suffered from abuse and ranking manipulation. To provide better results to their users, search engines had to adapt to ensure their results pages showed the most relevant search results, rather than unrelated pages stuffed with numerous keywords by unscrupulous webmasters. Since the success and popularity of a search engine is determined by its ability to produce the most relevant results to any given search, allowing those results to be false would turn users to find other search sources. Search engines responded by developing more complex ranking algorithms, taking into account additional factors that were more difficult for webmasters to manipulate.

Graduate students at Stanford University, Larry Page and Sergey Brin, developed "backrub," a search engine that relied on a mathematical algorithm to rate the prominence of web pages. The number calculated by the algorithm, PageRank, is a function of the quantity and strength of inbound links. PageRank estimates the likelihood that a given page will be reached by a web user who randomly surfs the web, and follows links from one page to another. In effect, this means that some links are stronger than others, as a higher PageRank page is more likely to be reached by the random surfer.

Page and Brin founded Google in 1998. Google attracted a loyal following among the growing number of Internet users, who liked its simple design. Off-page factors (such as PageRank and hyperlink analysis) were considered as well as on-page factors (such as keyword frequency, meta tags, headings, links and site structure) to enable Google to avoid the kind of manipulation seen in search engines that only considered on-page factors for their rankings. Although PageRank was more difficult to game, webmasters had already developed link building tools and schemes to influence the Inktomi search engine, and these methods proved similarly applicable to gaming PageRank. Many sites focused on exchanging, buying, and selling links, often on a massive scale. Some of these schemes, or link farms, involved the creation of thousands of sites for the sole purpose of link spamming.

By 2004, search engines had incorporated a wide range of undisclosed factors in their ranking algorithms to reduce the impact of link manipulation. Google says it ranks sites using more than 200 different signals. The leading search engines, Google and Yahoo, do not disclose the algorithms they use to rank pages. Notable SEOs, such as Rand Fishkin, Barry Schwartz, Aaron Wall and Jill Whalen, have studied different approaches to search engine optimization, and have published their opinions in online forums and blogs. SEO practitioners may also study patents held by various search engines to gain insight into the algorithms.

In 2005 Google began personalizing search results for each user. Depending on their history of previous searches, Google crafted results for logged in users. In 2008, Bruce Clay said that "ranking is dead" because of personalized search. It would become meaningless to discuss how a website ranked, because its rank would potentially be different for each user and each search.

In 2007 Google announced a campaign against paid links that transfer PageRank. On June 15 2009, Google disclosed that they had taken measures to mitigate the effects of PageRank sculpting by use of the nofollow attribute on links. Matt Cutts, a well known software engineer at Google, announced that Google Bot would no longer treat nofollowed links in the same way, in order to prevent SEOs from using nofollow for PageRank sculpting. As a result of this change the usage of nofollow leads to evaporation of pagerank. In order to avoid the above, SEOs developed alternative techniques that replace nofollowed tags with obfuscated Javascript and thus permit PageRank sculpting. Additionally several solutions have been suggested that include the usage of iframes, flash and javascript.
In December 2009 Google announced it would be using the web search history of all its users in order to populate search results.

History of Computer virus

The Creeper virus was first detected on ARPANET, the forerunner of the Internet, in the early 1970s. Creeper was an experimental self-replicating program written by Bob Thomas at BBN Technologies in 1971. Creeper used the ARPANET to infect DEC PDP-10 computers running the TENEX operating system. Creeper gained access via the ARPANET and copied itself to the remote system where the message, "I'm the creeper, catch me if you can!" was displayed. The Reaper program was created to delete Creeper.

A program called "Rother J" was the first computer virus to appear "in the wild" — that is, outside the single computer or lab where it was created. Written in 1981 by Richard Skrenta, it attached itself to the Apple DOS 3.3 operating system and spread via floppy disk. This virus, created as a practical joke when Skrenta was still in high school, was injected in a game on a floppy disk. On its 50th use the Elk Cloner virus would be activated, infecting the computer and displaying a short poem beginning "Elk Cloner: The program with a personality."

The first PC virus in the wild was a boot sector virus dubbed (c)Brain, created in 1986 by the Farooq Alvi Brothers in Lahore, Pakistan, reportedly to deter piracy of the software they had written. However, analysts have claimed that the Ashar virus, a variant of Brain, possibly predated it based on code within the virus.

Before computer networks became widespread, most viruses spread on removable media, particularly floppy disks. In the early days of the personal computer, many users regularly exchanged information and programs on floppies. Some viruses spread by infecting programs stored on these disks, while others installed themselves into the disk boot sector, ensuring that they would be run when the user booted the computer from the disk, usually inadvertently. PCs of the era would attempt to boot first from a floppy if one had been left in the drive. Until floppy disks fell out of use, this was the most successful infection strategy and boot sector viruses were the most common in the wild for many years.

Traditional computer viruses emerged in the 1980s, driven by the spread of personal computers and the resultant increase in BBS, modem use, and software sharing. Bulletin board-driven software sharing contributed directly to the spread of Trojan horse programs, and viruses were written to infect popularly traded software. Shareware and bootleg software were equally common vectors for viruses on BBS's. Within the "pirate scene" of hobbyists trading illicit copies of retail software, traders in a hurry to obtain the latest applications were easy targets for viruses.

Macro viruses have become common since the mid-1990s. Most of these viruses are written in the scripting languages for Microsoft programs such as Word and Excel and spread throughout Microsoft Office by infecting documents and spreadsheets. Since Word and Excel were also available for Mac OS, most could also spread to Macintosh computers. Although most of these viruses did not have the ability to send infected e-mail, those viruses which did took advantage of the Microsoft Outlook COM interface.

Some old versions of Microsoft Word allow macros to replicate themselves with additional blank lines. If two macro viruses simultaneously infect a document, the combination of the two, if also self-replicating, can appear as a "mating" of the two and would likely be detected as a virus unique from the "parents.".

A virus may also send a web address link as an instant message to all the contacts on an infected machine. If the recipient, thinking the link is from a friend (a trusted source) follows the link to the website, the virus hosted at the site may be able to infect this new computer and continue propagating.
Viruses that spread using cross-site scripting were first reported in 2002., and were academically demonstrated in 2005.. There have been multiple instances of the cross-site scripting viruses in the wild, exploiting websites such as MySpace and Yahoo.

Computer virus

A computer virus is a computer program that can copy itself and infect a computer. The term "virus" is also commonly but erroneously used to refer to other types of malware, adware, and spyware programs that do not have the reproductive ability. A true virus can only spread from one computer to another (in some form of executable code) when its host is taken to the target computer; for instance because a user sent it over a network or the Internet, or carried it on a removable medium such as a floppy disk, CD, DVD, or USB drive. Viruses can increase their chances of spreading to other computers by infecting files on a network file system or a file system that is accessed by another computer.
The term "computer virus" is sometimes used as a catch-all phrase to include all types of malware, adware, and spyware programs that do not have the reproductive ability. Malware includes computer viruses, worms, trojans, most rootkits, spyware, dishonest adware, crimeware, and other malicious and unwanted software, including true viruses. Viruses are sometimes confused with computer worms and Trojan horses, which are technically different. A worm can exploit security vulnerabilities to spread itself to other computers without needing to be transferred as part of a host, and a Trojan horse is a program that appears harmless but has a hidden agenda. Worms and Trojans, like viruses, may cause harm to either a computer system's hosted data, functional performance, or networking throughput, when they are executed. Some viruses and other malware have symptoms noticeable to the computer user, but many are surreptitious or go unnoticed.

Christina Aguilera Biography

Christina Maria Aguilera was born on December 18, 1980, to parents Jim, a military father of Ecuadorian descent, and Shelly, an Irish professional violinist/pianist. Growing up with her brothers and sisters in Wexford, Pennsylvania, Christina always knew that she wanted to be a performer. In her early 20s, this blond-haired, blue-eyed beauty got more than she bargained for.
Her career as a singer started when she began performing at her school's talent shows. She took her soulful voice to the Star Search stage, (like her singing counterpart, Britney Spears), and performed on national television. The next time she performed in front of a live audience was when she sang the national anthem for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins.

CHRISTINA AGUILERA IS A MOUSEKETEER
At the age of 12, Christina landed a coveted spot on the popular variety show The Mickey Mouse Club as a Mousketeer, with fellow cast mates Britney Spears, Keri Russell, J.C. Chasez, and Justin Timberlake.

After her two-year stint on the show, Christina traveled to Japan in 1998, where she recorded a duet with Japanese star Keizo Nakanishi, and later toured in Japan. Her next public performance was at the Golden Stag Festival in Transylvania, Romania, joining Sheryl Crow and Diana Ross.
As if overnight, Christina became a star. It all started when she sent a demo tape to the producers of the Disney animated feature Mulan after she was invited to audition for the part. All the studio needed to hear was her home-recorded demo tape, in which Christina sang karaoke to Whitney Houston's hit "I Wanna Run to You," and the studio executives knew that they had found the wide-range voice they were looking for.

CHRISTINA AGUILERA'S REFLECTION
Two days later, Christina recorded "Reflection" for Mulan and was signed for a record deal with RCA Records that same week. The song "Reflection" became a hit adult contemporary single, and garnered a Golden Globe nomination for Best Original Song for a Motion Picture.
For those of you who didn't see Mulan, there was no need to fret -- as we would soon hear Christina's hit single "Genie in a Bottle." Her self-titled debut album was released on August 24, 1999, and sold more than 250,000 copies within one week of being released.
With only one hit single under her belt at the time of the Grammys, Christina won the Grammy Award for Best New Female Artist. We had yet to hear the other two hit singles that were coming our way -- the dance-pop tune "What a Girl Wants" and the ballad "I Turn to You."

CHRISTINA AGUILERA SINGS LADY MARMALADE
Christina also proved that she can work with other divas, as she did in the remake of "Lady Marmalade," from the Moulin Rouge! (2001) soundtrack. Teamed with Lil' Kim, Pink and Mya, Christina stole the show. The video took home the 2001 MTV Video Music Award for Best Video of the Year. She also appeared on the All-Star Tribute remake of Marvin Gaye's "What's Going On?" with Bono and Nelly Furtado.
In 2003, she released Stripped, featuring such hit songs as "Dirrty," "Beautiful" and "Can't Hold Us Down." The album made Christina the No.1 Billboard Female Artist of the year.
She followed the release of that album with a co-headlining tour with her fellow former Mouseketeer, Justin Timberlake. In June, Aguilera joined Justin for the Justified & Stripped Tour.

CHRISTINA AGUILERA'S BACK TO BASICS
In the past, Christina was linked to Enrique Iglesias, Fred Durst and MTV's Carson Daly. She was less than thrilled about Eminem's mention of her "relationship" with Carson Daly and Fred Durst in his song "The Real Slim Shady," and publicly expressed her feelings of disgust toward the shady rapper.
In 2005, however, the "Dirrty" girl settled down with music executive Jordan Bratman. The two were married in a November 19th ceremony, and had a baby boy in January 2008.

Affiliate marketing

Affiliate Marketing is an Internet-based marketing practice in which a business rewards one or more affiliates for each visitor or customer brought about by the affiliate's marketing efforts. It is an application of crowdsourcing. Examples include rewards sites, where users are rewarded with cash or gifts, for the completion of an offer, and the referral of others to the site.

The affiliate marketing industry has four core players: the merchant (also known as 'retailer' or 'brand'), the network, the publisher (also known as 'the affiliate') and the customer. The market has grown in complexity to warrant a secondary tier of players, including affiliate management agencies, super-affiliates and specialized third parties vendors.

Affiliate marketing overlaps with other Internet marketing methods to some degree, because affiliates often use regular advertising methods. Those methods include organic search engine optimization, paid search engine marketing, e-mail marketing, and in some sense display advertising. On the other hand, affiliates sometimes use less orthodox techniques, such as publishing reviews of products or services offered by a partner.
Affiliate marketing—using one website to drive traffic to another—is a form of online marketing, which is frequently overlooked by advertisers. While search engines, e-mail, and website syndication capture much of the attention of online retailers, affiliate marketing carries a much lower profile. Still, affiliates continue to play a significant role in e-retailers' marketing strategies.
